1. Who we are

This website, elastak.com, is operated by ELASTAK, the rubber extrusion brand of Al Khaleej Polymers Rubber and Plastic Industries LLC, Plot No. L7 & 28, Al Ghayl Industrial Area, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. We manufacture rubber extrusions, seals, gaskets and marine fenders. In this policy “ELASTAK”, “we” and “us” refer to us. 2. Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, plus basic technical data needed to run the website.

• Quote and contact requests: your name, company, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, industry, the product you are interested in, quantities and your message.
• Drawings and files: any drawing, CAD file, photo or document you upload with a request (PDF, JPG, PNG or ZIP).
• Emails, calls and WhatsApp messages: the content of any message you send us directly and your contact details.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, recorded in our hosting server logs for security and to keep the site working.

We do not ask for payment card details on this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

3. How we use your information

• To answer your enquiry, prepare quotations and develop the profile you asked about.
• To review your drawings and samples, select a compound and design tooling.
• To process orders, deliveries and invoices if you become a customer.
• To keep the website secure and prevent spam and misuse.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We will not send you marketing messages unless you have asked to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

4. Legal basis

We process personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. We rely on your request (to take steps before entering into a contract with you), the performance of a contract, our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business, your consent where we ask for it, and our legal obligations. If you contact us from another country, we also respect the data protection rights that apply to you there.

5. Your drawings and technical information

Drawings, specifications and samples you send us are treated as confidential. We use them only to quote for and manufacture your profile, share them only with staff who need them for that work, and do not use your designs to make products for anyone else.

6. Who we share information with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with:

• service providers who help us run the website and email (hosting, email delivery, IT support), under confidentiality obligations;
• logistics partners, when we deliver an order to you;
• authorities, when the law requires it.

Some of these providers may store data outside the UAE. When that happens we make sure the data stays protected to the standard required by UAE law.

7. Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress may set strictly necessary cookies, for example when a site administrator logs in. If we add analytics or other cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

8. WhatsApp and third-party links

If you contact us through WhatsApp, your messages are also handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy. Links to other websites, such as social media, are covered by those websites’ policies, not this one.

9. How long we keep information

We keep enquiries and uploaded files for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting business, and customer records for as long as required by UAE commercial and tax law. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

10. Security

We use secure (HTTPS) connections, restricted administrator access and reputable hosting to protect your information. No website is completely secure, so please avoid sending highly sensitive information through the contact form.

11. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your information, unless we must keep it by law;
• restrict or stop using your information, or withdraw your consent.
